
AP Education, HRD Minister Nara Lokesh has set a new procedure for development of his constituency Mangalagiri. He directed that the roads of Mangalagiri must be free of potholes.
The Minister directed the officials to take it up as a 100-day challenge to ensure roads in Mangalagiri are devoid of potholes. To make Tadepalli clean and Number One, 5 latest vehicles with a cost of Rs 4.4 crore have been launched, said Lokesh.
To remove trash, two refuse compacter machines and two sweeping machines have been added. One BT road pothole filler machine has also been launched by Minister Lokesh at his Undavalli residence.
Speaking to media later, Lokesh shared that Rs 1.9 crore compactor machines used in Chennai, Bengaluru and Hyderabad were introduced for the first time in AP, in Mangalgiri municipal corporation.
He shared that Rs 1.48 crore pothole repair machine and two sweeping machines worth Rs 1.2 crore have been given to MTMC. He told the officials to take up the 100-day challenge to make Mangalagiri pothole-free. After 100 days, Lokesh asked the officials to take feedback or complaints from people through whatsapp or swacchandhra app.
The officials promised Lokesh that they will take up the 100-day challenge and work for the makeover of Mangalagiri.
