Nara Lokesh Drawing Plans For Padayatra

Telugu Desam Party seems to be going into the Election mood with elections two years to go. Former Minister Nara Lokesh is likely to lead the party and is planning to take up a Padayatra from August covering all districts.

Before the Padyatra, Lokesh is also planning district tours from next month to activate the party in all the constituencies and will also discuss with the leaders about the padayatra. Lokesh is keen on tumbling the records of YSR, Chandrababu, and Lokesh with this Padayatra.

For more than a year, Lokesh has been working on his fitness to ensure the padayatra happens. Sources say that, unlike all the three leaders, Lokesh wants to cover all the 175 constituencies. Half of them will be covered in the first leg beginning in August and the remaining will be covered in the second leg before the elections.

The padayatra will ensure the party leaders and cadre will be on their toes and will also ensure that the party goes back to the people which is very important before the election.
