TDP General Secretary Nara Lokesh has made a sensational statement regarding the speculation around Kavitha’s political future. Speaking to the media in Delhi, Lokesh was asked if Kavitha, suspended from BRS, would be joining TDP.
Dismissing the rumours, Lokesh said that taking Kavitha into TDP would be no different from aligning with Jagan Mohan Reddy. His remarks have effectively ended days of speculation that Kavitha might switch sides to TDP after her suspension from BRS.
Interestingly, Lokesh added that he meets KTR often and shares a cordial bond with him. However, his clear stand indicates that TDP has no interest in accommodating Kavitha, who is increasingly being compared to Sharmila in political circles.
Meanwhile, in Telangana Jagruthi, internal dissent against Kavitha has been growing ever since her exit from BRS. With major parties unwilling to welcome her, political observers suggest that Kavitha’s chances of joining any established party remain slim.
At this point, the former MLC might be left with the option of floating her own party if she wishes to sustain her political career.
