
Andhra Pradesh IT Minister Nara Lokesh met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi on Friday. Their meeting lasted for 45 minutes, where they discussed development, investments, and ongoing projects that are important for the state.
Lokesh thanked the Prime Minister for approving a semiconductor plant in Andhra Pradesh. He also sought support for attracting major investors, setting up IT and technology companies, and introducing reforms in the education sector.
During the talks, Lokesh requested more assistance from the Centre to strengthen higher education in Andhra Pradesh. He assured the Prime Minister that the state government was actively implementing central schemes across different sectors.
The Prime Minister responded positively to the discussions and extended his support. Lokesh presented the Yogandhra coffee table book to the Prime Minister as a gesture of goodwill after the meeting.
Lokesh is also scheduled to meet other central ministers on the same day. This meeting holds significance, as it is his second audience with the Prime Minister within just four months, the earlier one being on May 17 with his wife Brahmani and son Devansh.
