IT Minister Nara Lokesh attended the Aerospace Manufacturing CII Conclave held in Vizag as the chief guest. Addressing industry leaders, he emphasised that with a clear vision, anything is achievable.
He assured potential investors that once they partner with Andhra Pradesh, their project becomes a shared mission. “It’s no longer your project. It becomes our project,” he said. “If we need to lobby with the Civil Aviation Ministry, we will. We’ve already done that with NMDC. We’re here to take full ownership.”
Lokesh stressed that the government is open to policy changes and tax reforms if needed, promising to take up such matters directly with the leadership in Delhi. He described the state’s governance as a blend of young, dynamic leadership supported by seasoned experience.
Highlighting Andhra Pradesh as a start-up state, he stated, “We are hungry, and we are ready to steal your business from any other state or country.” His comment, made while observing various exhibits at the conclave, received strong applause from the audience.
He also pointed out the state’s impressive 15% growth rate, crediting the double-engine government for driving this performance.
