Modi Duped by a Promo Video Made in Hyderabad?

Prime Minister Narendra Modi speaking at a Public meeting a few days ago while promoting his vision of a cashless society mentioned about a beggar using a Swipe machine. Modi admitted that he was not sure about the authenticity of the story but then it turns out that the video was made by a tech company to promote digitalisation.

Numero Graphics Solution Private Limited, a Hyderabad-based data processing, and visualization company made this video in November 2013 and was posted on YouTube on 16th January 2014. In fact, this is much earlier to Demonetization. In fact, it is before Modi assumed office.

The company makes several such creative videos to promote technology and the company admitted that they have given the beggar that swipe machine to shoot for the video. The company revealed that the video was shot on a mobile phone. They started recording when the signal turned red at one of the junctions in Hyderabad, and it was over before it turned green.
