Modi Govt Going Extra Mile To Help Jagan?

A report in Sakshi went on to say that the Union Government has agreed to reimburse 3000 Crore Rupees for the State Government for Polavaram Project. The Union Water Resources Ministry has given its approval and the Finance Ministry is planning to release the funds to NABARD.

The State Government has also sent Utilization Certificates for another 1801.04 Crore and they are pending with Union Water Resources Ministry. If at all, the Center releases 3000 Crore Rupees, it will be greatly useful for the State Government which is under severe financial stress.

The new Chief Minister will also have a breathing space to execute his promises. If 3000 Crore is released at a time, it is the highest Single Payment ever for Polavaram Project and we can assume that the BJP Government is keen on helping Jagan Mohan Reddy as much as possible.

Until now, YSR Congress is alleging scam in Polavaram Project and Zero Progress in the Construction but is sending the Utilization Certificates of the Previous Government for money. On the other side, the works at Polavaram were stalled by Polavaram Authority citing Technical Reasons.
