Modi To Implement KCR’s Raithu Bandhu At National Level?

Ahead of the Parliament Elections in Summer, Prime Minister Narendra is mulling over a Raithu Bandhu like a scheme for the farmers. The Central Government is seriously mulling various options to please the farmers ahead of the elections. Rythu Bandhu scheme in Telangana gives 10000 Rupees investment for every acre and in every year.

But then implement such a scheme across the country will have huge financial implications. The center is mulling on the scheme while sharing the costs with the State Governments but such a move can happen only after wide consultations. A life insurance scheme for farmers is also being considered.

Another Proposal is to transfer the differential amount of Market Prices and Minimum Support Prices directly into the Bank Accounts of the farmers. Governments are keeping the MSP in check in order to tackle inflation, as a result, the farmers are on the losing side. So, this move will be brilliant the Central Government feels.

The major challenge is to execute the scheme which will be one of the biggest schemes in Independent India as the election schedule is expected to come by the last week of February. BJP’s poll fortunes may depend on this scheme and so the Central Government has to pull off a blinder. It will be a laurel to the Telangana Government if the Raithu Bandhu scheme is implemented.
