NCC, L&T Bid For Amaravati Assembly, High Court

The buildings for Assembly and High Court in Amaravati have received two bids each. The Capital Region Development Authority (CRDA) had called for bids on March 1 for Rs 786 crore Assembly building and Rs 1048 crore High Court building.

The deadline ended on Monday evening. On 17th evening, the officials announced the nominal bids. NCC and L&T put the tenders for Assembly and High Court. The names have been sent to the second committee.

Once they are finalized, the financial tenders will be called for. The agency that remains L1 will get the bid.

In Amaravati government complex, the Assembly will come up in 103.76 acres, 11.21 lakh sq ft in Super Block E. It has been designed as a three-floor construction including the basement and ground floor.

The High Court will come up in Super Block F in 42.36 acres, 20.32 lakh sq ft. It will be of 7 floors including the basement and ground floor.

The Capital works are likely to begin once Prime Minister Modi comes and does the ground-breaking to restart stalled works. The target is to complete the capital in three years.
