New International Cricket Stadium in Warangal

Telangana Government is keen on developing Warangal City as the second capital of Telangana. The government is planning an International Cricket Stadium in the city and is ready to allot 25 acres for the stadium construction.

Hyderabad Cricket Association will be executing this Stadium to build a world-class cricket stadium in Warangal with a budget of 25 crores. The HCA has been conducting under – 19 and under – 17 cricket tournaments to recognize the local talent from rural areas of the state.

A stadium with international facilities will benefit the local youth to hone their skills and contribute to the overall development of Warangal, the state government opines. Telangana currently has only one International Stadium in Uppal, Hyderabad right now.
