Political circles in Telangana are abuzz with talk of new parties. A retired IAS officer is reportedly preparing to launch a political outfit. Discussions are said to be underway, adding to the state’s already changing political landscape.
Recently, Teen Maar Mallanna announced his party. Former BRS leader Kavitha is also believed to be working on one. Now, attention is shifting to the retired IAS officer, as BC politics hold centre stage with parties competing for their support.
BC Intellectual Forum chairman Chiranjeevulu is also considering launching a BC-centric party. Political insiders say his party will focus on addressing the aspirations of BC communities across Telangana. The timing and name of the party are yet to be revealed.
With TRP, Teen Maar Mallanna has already entered the scene as a BC-focused party. Many now wonder how Chiranjeevulu’s outfit will differ and whether it can make an impact in upcoming elections.
Political analysts, however, remain cautious. They point out that parties launched in the heat of the moment rarely dent established vote banks and often struggle to leave a long-term mark.
