News Channel Ratings: ABN Behind Sakshi For 2 Weeks

BARC released the Ratings of Telugu News Channels for Week 9 of 2025.

In the 15+ age group in AP and TG, TV9 and NTV are in the first two positions as it is for a very long time

Like the last week, Sakshi is ahead of ABN-Andhrajyothy.

For the last few weeks, ABN has been lagging behind Sakshi.

Now we have Sakshi leading over ABN for two consecutive weeks.

It is interesting to note that both the channels dropped after the elections.

That is expected because the consumption of news (except for the top 2 channels) will drop after the elections.

But then, ABN dropped more than Sakshi and so, it has come to this level.

Does this have anything with Radhakrishna being critical of the current Government?

Also, the demand for anti-YSR Congress news will naturally come down after the elections because news against the party in the Opposition is not exciting anymore.

The Channel management probably needs a retrospection.

This is not great news for Sakshi either because the channel is not improving but it is only ABN losing for now.

TV5 is in third position and V6 is in fourth.

In Hyderabad, TV9, V6, TV5, ABN, and NTV are in the first five places. Sakshi is in seventh position. ETV Andhra Pradesh is ahead of Sakshi in Hyderabad.
