Nike Manufacturing Unit in Nellore!

A manufacturing unit of International Shoe company, Nike is coming to Nellore. Apachi which currently has an agreement with Adidas to manufacture shoes from Tada in Nellore also entered in to an agreement with Nike to manufacture their shoes. Currently Apachi has 7500 local staff and is manufacturing one lakh pairs of Adidas shoes per year. The staff after the training are being given 7000-10000 salary.

Apachi has requested the government to sanction 150 acres of land near Nellore and Kavali for their new unit. This unit will create direct employment to 2000 people. The company will very soon submit a comprehensive report regarding the project. Chandra Babu Naidu already ordered APIIC to start identifying the lands. The company will train the locals before employing them. This is the first ever manufacturing unit of Nike in the country.
