No Chance of Special Status to Andhra Pradesh

Lok Satta Founder Jayaprakash Narayan has opined that there are no chances of Andhra Pradesh getting a Special Status. “All the political parties are also aware of it but are playing to the galleries for votes,” Jaya Prakash Narayana alleged.

He called for all political parties to forget about Special Status and fight to bring all the benefits of the Special Status whatever be the name. “All the funds which should come in Special Status should come and Tax Exemptions to Seven Backward Districts are important,” JP said.

JP also formed an independent committee with Experts to ascertain facts. He also mentioned that Janasena President Pawan Kalyan had lost interest after the report of the Fact-Finding Committee and so taking it forward with a new committee.
