No Compromise even on Temporary Secretariat

Andhra Pradesh government is keen on leaving no stone untouched to make the Temporary Secretariat a grand affair. The state government had employed a Delhi based Architect to design the interiors and exteriors of the under construction structure. The architect, CP Kukreja will design the interiors, exteriors, lighting inside, Officers cabins, Arrangment of furniture inside etc.

The company will also take care of the seating, audio and video systems of the proposed Temporary Assembly and Council. 1.4 Crore will be paid to the company which already started its work from 9th of this month. The company will provide all the details and cost estimation by 15th of this month.

Tenders will be called on that day or the next day. According to an estimate, the furniture required will cost 140 Crore while the outside roads, sanitation, water supply etc will cost 69 Crore. CRDA had sent proposal for additional floors in this buildings to the government. If government okays that, tenders will be called on 15th of this month.
