No Confidence Motion: What Did KCR Gain or Lose?

Telangana Rashtra Samiti has abstained from the voting on the No Confidence Motion put up against the Central Government the other day. TRS did not extend its support to the cause of Andhra Pradesh on this issue much to the delight of Modi Government.

This may not go well with the Settlers in Telangana. Also, TRS indirect support to BJP will not definitely go well with the minorities, a section KCR is grooming carefully for the votes. This issue has also dented the credibility of KCR at the National Level.

The National Parties will not believe KCR’s Federal Front idea which was said to be equidistant to BJP and Congress. Here KCR is clearly inclined towards BJP. In return, he got some good words from the Prime Minister in Parliament. In all probability, this may be the first step towards a Post-Poll Alliance with BJP.
