No Respite for Nayeem’s Victims

Recently encountered Gangster Nayeem is accused of encroaching nearly 1300 acres of land. But the victims of Nayeem and his henchmen, may never get back their property due to limitations in law pertaining to land registration. Nayeem Gang manipulated land records with some corrupt sub-registrars.

It is very easy for the police to pull out the details of the actual land owners in some cases, but even then they still cannot restore the properties to their rightful owners as there was no provision of restoration. In most cases, Nayeem had threatened land owners to sell their properties at throwaway prices.

But then when lands are transferred, they can never be taken back. Most of these lands are in the name of Binamis. Telangana Police and SIT officials are in the process of attaching these lands. In some cases, the land records are not computerized and in some cases, Nayeem gang removed the records using corrupt sub-registrars.
