No Water Unless You Join Our Party: YCP Sarpanch

In what can be termed as shocking the locals of Kolabhimupadu village in Markapuram Mandal of Prakasam district are alleging that the village sarpanch took away the switch panel board at the Panchayat Bore saying, that they have to join YSR Congress for getting water or bring tankers.

The population of Kolabhimupadu village in Markapuram Mandal of Prakasam district is 800 while 200 people live in SC palem. Two bores were made for them. A small tank is built at a bore. The locals are not taking water into this tank, they are taking the water directly at the bore with a pipe.

Noticing this, Sarpanchi Chittireddy Subbareddy has recently strongly said that the water should not be used directly, but should be stored and used from the tank.

Recently on the 21st of this month, he removed the Bore switchboard and took it to his home. Residents of SC palem who have been in trouble for 5 days went to Sarpanch’s house and questioned him.

“We will supply water to you only if all the TDP people in the colony come to my house and join YSR Congress. Only then, I will give the switch panel board. Otherwise, bring water in tankers,’ said Sarpanch, the victims lamented.

They are requesting that the higher officials respond and solve the water problem.
