Nominations time completed in Seemandhra

The Nominations time in Telangana is complete by 3 PM today. There was a heavy rush today as most leaders filed their nominations today since it was a Public holiday yesterday. Since the alliance of TDP and BJP was in dilemma, there was big confusion in the candidates of both the parties. So, now the parties fear if their candidates have filed their nominations correctly in the last minute rush. The nomination applications will be scrutinized on Monday and any defaulters will have their nominations rejected. The candidates can withdraw their nominations till 23rd of this month.

Several disappointed leaders of various parties have filed their nominations as rebels, parties will have tough time negotiating with them and making them withdraw. The thirteen districts of Seemandhra will go in to polls on May 7th. Both the Assembly and Parliament elections will take place simultaneously. The results of both Seemandhra and Telangana will be announced on May 16th along with Parliament results.
