Noose Tightens on YSR Congress in Tuni Arson Case

YSR Congress Leader and former Tirupati MLA, Bhumana Karunakar Reddy and Number One News Channel Owner, Sudhakar Naidu were served notices by AP CID in Tuni arson case. The notices were served under CRPC Section 160 and CID asked them to appear before them for interrogation on 4th of this month.

CID already made several arrests in this case but Kapu Strongman Mudragada Padmanabham is arguing that they are innocent. Speculations are on if Bhumana Karunakar Reddy will be arrested in relation to the case. There are allegations that Opposition Leader YS Jagan Mohan Reddy fanned the issue.

It is an open secret in Godavari districts that YSR Congress funded the Kapu Gharjana meeting which was attended by Lakhs of people. Mudragada who was away from active politics for a long time could not afford such huge meeting otherwise. On the other side, Mudragada is gearing up for one more agitation for Kapu Reservations. He called for a meeting in Rajamahendravaram on 11th in which all prominent Kapu leaders of 13 districts will participate.
