Not Ali & Vinayak, Suman For YSRCP?

Suman, an unfamiliar name in the Telugu film industry, started his career as a small artist and quickly rose to fame as a leading hero.

However, due to certain developments in his life, he took a hiatus from the silver screen for a few years.

Despite this break, Suman remains unmatched in his ability to portray diverse roles, and he continues to take on guest roles in movies.

Recent rumors suggest that Suman is venturing into politics, with reports indicating that he will soon join the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) in the presence of party chief and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Reddy. The timing of his entry into the party appears to be aligned with the upcoming general elections in Andhra Pradesh.

As there have been changes in party in-charges in various constituencies, there is a sense of unrest within the YSRCP. Opposition arises wherever there is a change in charge, with leaders expressing dissatisfaction.

Some MLAs and MPs have resigned and joined other parties, while others are contemplating switching sides.

In response, the YSRCP is actively seeking candidates from diverse backgrounds, including businessmen and individuals from the film industry.

Comedian Ali had initial discussions with director VV Vinayak, and it was rumored that they were likely to receive party tickets.

However, there seems to be a sudden shift, and the name of veteran actor Suman has emerged.

The social media campaign regarding Suman’s potential entry into politics is gaining momentum, led by YSRCP workers and party leaders.

Interestingly, Suman is not a novice in politics. He has been associated with TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu, considering him as a political mentor.

Suman publicly praised Chandrababu Naidu during TDP’s tenure and later admired KCR when the TRS came to power. However, after the YSRCP assumed office, Suman seems to have taken an unexpected political turn.

Reliable sources indicate that there are discussions about Suman contesting from the Rajahmundry Lok Sabha constituency.

Initially, YSRCP leadership considered Ali or Vinayak for this seat, but both hesitated upon hearing the substantial deposit amount required.

Subsequently, YSRCP leaders reached out to Suman, who expressed interest in politics and reportedly agreed, even if unsure about the deposit amount.
