Notes Ban – a Backdoor Entry to Amaravati for YSRCP

YSR Congress had tread a dangerous path in Amaravati to oppose the Land Pooling which was embraced by the majority farmers there. Even after the record 30000 acres pooling, Jagan went on to promise to give away the lands if he came to power. But then that virtually closed doors for the party in the Capital Area.

But then the party suddenly senses a chance in Amaravati due to the ongoing Demonetization issue. Farmers who have recently sold their lands and sitting on the money are losing big now as they struggle to change the old notes they have got.

Also, Demonetization is expected to hit real estate everywhere and the farmers who have got developed plots.will lose due to this. YSR Congress had already started the propaganda that all these woes of the farmers are due to Chandrababu Naidu and his land pooling idea which they are opposing from the start.

They are also propagating that the Notes Ban is also due to Chandrababu Naidu’s idea and his letter one month before the Demonetization. It has to be seen if this comes as an opportunity for YSR Congress to make a comeback in Amaravati.
