NTR’s 100 Rupees Coin: Price, Availability, & Other Details

As we reported the other day, the RBI is set to unveil a commemorative Rs 100 coin with Sr NTR’s image on it. Here’re more details in this context.

This coin will be released in the market in the next two months. It can be bought at Reserve Bank counter, or at any bank.

Each of this coins cost Rs 4160. These coins are made 50% with silver, 40% copper, 5% nickel and 5% Zinc.

Those who buy these NTR coins will also get a 4-page book that covers the historic life journey of the legendary Telugu personality.

The RBI rarely rolls out such commemorative coins and they’re doing the same with the new NTR coin now. It is expected to generate great interest from the Telugu community.

The proposal for this coin was first made by Purandeshwari who took it up to the centra finance minister Nirmala Seetharaman. Purandeshwari has now added that it’s a proud moment for the Telugu community to see their pride on a rare commemorative coin.
