One more roadblock to Hyderabad Metro Rail

Hyderabad Metro Rail project has hit one more roadblock. There is some issue arose between Contractors and the constructing company, L&T over the payments. The contractors say L&T did not pay their money and so they have stopped the work. Sadly the issue arose in the Nagole-Mettuguda route which is the first route to begin operations in March next year.

This is the second issue in last two days regarding Hyderabad Metro Rail project. Telangana government has asked the project to go under ground at places where there are heritage buildings. However the company says going under ground is not feasible financially and technically.There are reports that the company threatened to back out from the deal. We will have to see what happens to this prestigious project!
