One more Telangana Village to be added to AP!

It is known to our readers that the Union Government has added few villages that will be submerged due to Polavaram from Telangana to Andhra Pradesh as soon as they came to power. Before the controversy has subsided, one more is set bloom now. Andhra Pradesh has wrote to the Center that Burgumpaadu village which is currently in Khammam district, Telangana will also get submerged due to the project.

The village is in the submerging villages list in the Andhra Pradesh Reorganization Act but was mistakenly left out of the ordinance. Andhra Pradesh is demanding now that Burgumpaadu should be added to it so that there are no hassles for the completion of the project.

On the other side, Telangana government is gearing up to mark a strict protest against any such step in front of the center. But given Center working in AP’s favour these days, Telangana is equally worried now. Andhra Pradesh government is also asking the center to leave out Telangana members from Polavaram authority as adding the submerging villages totally made the project an Andhra affair.
