One plus One Offer for TDP or YSR Congress?

Nandhyal By-Election which is well fought by TDP and YSR Congress is now finished and the result will be out on 28th (Monday). Now, everyone’s focus is on Kakinada Municipal Corporation Elections and polling for it will happen on 29th.

Kakinada Municipal Election assumes significance in the wake of Kapu Agitation. If TDP managed to win the election comfortably, we may be just over-estimating the effect of Mudragada and the issue. TDP will be more confident in Godavari districts before 2019.

The party which wins Nandhyal is most likely to win Kakinada as well. Nandyal result will come just a day before and will boost the confidence of the winning party. The losing party may not even care about the poll management in Kakinada, a day before the election.

Also, Nandhyal victory will have the public perception in favour of the winning party. In a way, Nandhyal and Kakinada Municipal Elections are going to be One Plus One Offer for either TDP or YSR Congress. Let us see who will have the last laugh!
