Operation Akarsha: Should Be KCR’s Biggest Worry

Just like Revanth Reddy’s Vote for Note episode, another sting operation has happened in Telangana. Some mediators on the behalf of BJP were seen bargaining with four TRS MLAs to defect them to the saffron party which will serve as a blow to the ruling party ahead of the Munugode by-election.

Cyberabad Police staged a sting operation with cameras and a select group of television channel reporters was also called.

BJP claims that the entire operation is stage-managed to tarnish the image of the BJP ahead of the crucial by-election while TRS says otherwise.

The mediators promised 100 Crore to TRS MLAs Pilot Rohit Reddy and 50 Crore each to the other three MLAs.

Back then, during Revanth Reddy’s episode, the entire Telangana is behind KCR and supported him. That has helped KCR to erase TDP from Telangana Politics.

But then, this operation did not create as much sensation as the last time. This indicates the dent in the popularity of KCR and TRS.

That should be the biggest worry of KCR than the actual gains or losses from this episode.
