Opinion: Capital-Less AP Criticizing Hyderabad Infra Is A Joke!

Monsoons have arrived in Hyderabad. Heavy rains are lashing the city for the last 3-4 days. Traffic snarls, water-logging problems have surfaced in many parts of the city and the videos of that are going viral on social media.

YSR Congress supporters are sneaking this as an opportunity and are mocking Hyderabad and its poor infra. They are mocking KTR and even Superstar Rajinikanth with memes and videos.

Apparently, Rajinikanth credited Chandrababu Naidu for the success story of Hyderabad.

Hyderabad people are giving it back saying that those who do not have capital can not complain.

The problems of Hyderabad are there for sure. But problems for a city are two types – Problems due to plenty and problems because of scarcity.

Hyderabad problems are because of plenty. There is rapid urbanization going on. The population is growing by multiple folds. The infra development is there but there is a gap.

But then, the question is if YSR Congress supporters are eligible to question or mock Hyderabad.

Poor infra is very much a part of Andhra Pradesh mainly due to neglect than anything. There is no capital for the state so far and even the big cities like Vijayawada and Vishakapatnam are not even a quarter of Hyderabad in size, urbanization, or amenities.

Moreover, Hyderabad is continuously investing to make lives better and there is nothing of that sort in Vijayawada or Vishakapatnam.

Andhra Pradesh government can not even give house pattas for the poor without getting flooded and they talk about Hyderabad!

YSRCP supporters mocking Hyderabad is like Third-world Junta criticizing first-world countries out of jealousy. One should have ambitious and dynamic leadership to aspire to and develop.

Leaving that, if we criticize Hyderabad or Bengaluru, it is like Sour Grapes.
