P. Gannavaram: No Incharge For TDP Since 2019

Telugu Desam Party had registered disastrous results in SC reserved constituencies in 2019 elections. TDP lost P. Gannavaram constituency of Konaseema district in 2019 elections.

TDP has strong cadre here but Chandrababu Naidu is dillydallying the appointment of an incharge ever since 2019. It’s been more than three years but TDP in P Gannavaram is without proper leadership. The leaders are not taking interest in the Anti-government programs as well.

Stalin who contested on TDP Ticket left the party after the allegations of Party fund misappropriation in 2019.

There are at least ten aspirants for the party ticket but Chandrababu is not finalizing the candidate fearing backlash from other leader. Pulivarthy Narayana TDP MLA in 2014-19 left the party after refused ticket in 2019.

He joined BJP but passed away recently. Before his demise, he tried to get back to TDP and get P Gannavaram ticket for his son.

Kondeti Chittibabu is the sitting MLA from YSR Congress but there is severe anti-incumbency on him. That is clearly visible in the Gadapa Gadapaku program. Cadre believes TDP will have an advantage if the candidate is announced soon.
