Pattiseema – Biggest Victory of Chandrababu in This Term?

When Chandrababu Naidu mooted the idea of Pattiseema, the hell broke loose and the opposition was hounding him and baying for his blood alleging that the project is a big scam. We still remember the visuals of Opposition Leader Jagan Mohan Reddy mocking the project in Assembly but all of them proved to be wrong.

Due to Pattiseema Project, Andhra Pradesh was able to divert 45 TMCs of water from the Godavari to Krishna Basin till date this year. Pattiseema can lift water for 10 more days which means 50 TMCs in total can be very much possible. Due to this, Rayalaseema has got never before water from Pothireddypadu this year.

All this is only due to Pattiseema Project. Given that Polavaram is at the mercy of the Central government now, Pattiseema is the cheapest alternative for the state and Naidu has proved the entire opposition wrong with this single instance

All those doubts about Pattiseema having no storage, Krishna and Godavari getting the flood at the same time etc are all busted. But then TDP fans are still not happy. They are of the opinion that despite bagging a sensational victory, the government is not advertising it as much as it should.
