Chandrababu releases water from Pattiseema!

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu had started the first pump of Pattiseema Project and released Godavari water. The first pump was commissioned in just five and half months after the starting of the project.

By the coming March, 24 pumps of the project will be operational and will pump 8500 cuseus of Godavari water to Krishna River. The water allocated to Krishna delta from Srisailam will be diverted to Rayalaseema to battle the drought there.

People turned in huge numbers as Chandrababu Naidu performed rituals to Godavari and Krishna deities at the place where both the rivers meet. This event can be seen as a milestone in the history of India.
