Pattiseema Confusion for Jagan Reddy

YS Jagan Mohan Reddy vehemently opposed Pattiseema Project when in Opposition. He accused it as a scam and questioned the use of the project when there is no storage provision. However, he proved to be wrong and Pattiseema Project emerged as a boon for farmers of Krishna Delta. The yield in the Delta has also improved and there are no longer Crop Holidays.

But then, Jagan never corrected his stance over the Project and now he is the Chief Minister. Switching on the motors of the Project will mean that he is defeated and the same time, he can make such a big project reductant just to satisfy his ego and for YSR Congress’ Political gains.

Already Monsoons are delayed and farmers are looking for Pattiseema Project. In the last couple of years, Pattiseema Project is already operational by now but the government is postponing the switching on of the motors hoping that monsoons will fill the void. The government may switch on the motors when the Assemble is not functioning, another version says.

TDP is waiting for the Government’s move to corner the Ruling Party. The Project is capable of lifting more than 100 TMC of water from the Godavari basin to the Krishna basin.
