Why Pawan Kalyan Got It Awfully Wrong?

Janasena President Pawan Kalyan all of sudden appeared at Pragathi Bhavan and sat with Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao for about an hour. Pawan Kalyan himself came out of the meeting and revealed the meeting agenda. Pawan is in all praises for the 24X7 Free Power for Farmers Scheme Rolled out by Telangana Government from today.

He went on to say that he learned about the Chief Minister about how it became possible from being a deficit power state. We do not know what KCR told him but then many feel that the first day of a scheme launch is not the best time to call a scheme success. Further, Pawan Kalyan should have talked to experts about how it is achieved.

Why should KCR not be asked is not a great doubt. Telangana is a Power Deficit State everyone knows but at the same time, after coming to Power, KCR did not increase the production enough to cover the deficit. The situation is eased by the reforms brought by NDA government which ensured Power Availability.

Telangana Government indulged in massive purchases taking Power issue as a prestige issue. The Surplus budget inherited from the state division also helped. Pawan Kalyan should have asked the experts if it took any reforms or innovation to achieve the status or if mere purchases have done the trick.By ensuring his first assignment of Janasena to praise KCR, Pawan Kalyan closed doors for the party in the state.
