Chandrababu Naidu and Pawan Kalyan jointly announced their first list of candidates in a Pressmeet. TDP announced 94 names while Janasena announced five.
It has been decided that TDP will contest in 151 seats while Janasena in the remaining 24 seats. The Seat-sharing will change a bit if it decides to join the alliance.
It is clear that BJP is yet to make a decision. Also going by the Pressmeet, it looks like Pawan Kalyan is more keen on having the Alliance with BJP than Chandrababu Naidu.
In his speech, Chandrababu mentioned BJP only once and also he cautiously said ‘
వారు (PK) చెప్పినట్టు బీజేపీ కలిసొస్తే‘. But then, Pawan Kalyan mentioned the Saffron Party 2-3 times.
He even started the speech saying that TDP and Janasena have the blessings of the BJP. It appears like Pawan Kalyan is more keen about the alliance than Chandrababu.
Also, it is good that they did not waste time further by waiting endlessly for the BJP to join.
