Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan raised the topic of international conspiracies during his Independence Day speech. Speaking in Kakinada, the Pithapuram MLA alleged that foreign forces were trying to influence the nation. He warned that internal elements were collaborating with them to disturb national stability.
The Deputy CM subtly criticised the Congress party, pointing out that it had lost at both national and state levels. Leaders with vested interests were trying to cast elections in a negative light, he added. Pawan Kalyan said the NDA government was focused on stability and economic growth.
He reminded the audience of the British rule and their divide and rule policy. By contrast, the current NDA government follows the spirit of unity and governance inspired by freedom fighters. He emphasised that India’s progress had attracted unwanted attention from foreign entities.
Certain national and local leaders were acting as pawns for these rogue forces, Pawan Kalyan said. Citizens were urged to stay aware of conspiracies and respond wisely. He also highlighted the importance of monitoring ports, recalling the Mumbai attack and the risks posed by lax security at coastal points.
Focusing on Kakinada port, the Deputy CM said that diesel smuggling could escalate into more serious threats like arms infiltration. Under the leadership of Chandrababu Naidu, the government remained vigilant. He concluded by stressing that democracy required constant vigilance and citizens should act to protect India’s internal security.
