Pithapuram, the constituency of Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, is set for a major boost in job creation and industrial growth with its first-ever industrial hub. Ignored for decades, the region will now witness a new chapter in development at the local level.
Despite being occupied with his film schedules, Pawan Kalyan will visit his constituency on August 14 to lay the foundation stone for the industrial hub near Agraharam. The Deputy CM will arrive at Kakinada, land at the Gollaprolu helipad, and proceed to Pithapuram for the inauguration. Later, he will return to Kakinada the same night and participate in Independence Day celebrations on August 15.
The police and local administration are making elaborate arrangements to ensure smooth proceedings. Security checks and bandobast measures are underway to avoid any lapses during the high-profile visit.
Pawan Kalyan, who leads the Jana Sena and is a key part of the ruling alliance in Andhra Pradesh, is keen on replicating the developmental model seen in constituencies like Mangalagiri, represented by IT Minister Nara Lokesh, and Kuppam, represented by CM Chandrababu Naidu. Now, Pithapuram is set to reap similar benefits after electing Pawan Kalyan with a huge mandate.
Earlier in April 2025, the Deputy CM inaugurated projects worth ₹100 crore, including a 100-bed community health centre and a TTD Kalyana Mandapam. At that time, he also distributed sewing machines to women and provided farm machinery to local farmers. The upcoming industrial hub is expected to be a significant step toward generating employment and accelerating economic progress in the region.
