Penukonda: Former MLA Vs Former MP In TDP

Penukonda has become a forte of the Telugu Desam Party ever since Paritala Ravindra’s time. BK Parthasarthy worked as ZP Chairman, MP, and MLA (for two times) and maintained a good grip on the party.

But things have changed after his defeat in the 2019 elections. YSR Congress is trying to ensure the constituency comes under its hold.

Group Politics is troubling TDP big time.

When Parthasarthy is an MLA, he used to not get along with the then MP Nimmala Kishtappa. Both of them used to work independently.

Kishtappa wanted to be an MLA but Chandrababu forced him to contest as MP. Kishtappa’s non-co-operation is also the reason for Parthasarthy’s defeat, many say.

Andhra Pradesh State Kuruba Corporation Ex-Chair Person Kuruba Sabita is also expecting the ticket.

Parthasarthy initially encouraged Sabita but she is expecting the ticket as Parthasarthy has some anti-feeling about him.

Chandrababu did not decide on the ticket and so, both of them are operating separately.

Former MP Kishtappa is supporting Sabita. Both of them have decided to co-operate with each other whoever gets the ticket.
