The case will come up for hearing tomorrow due to which Perni Nani and Perni Kittu filed the petitions on Wednesday.

The father-son duo are accused of distributing 10,000 fake pattas during 2024 general elections. According to facts that emerged later, Perni Nani and his associates are accused of printing 10,000 fake pattas.

Of these, 5000 were distributed and the Machilipatnam locals were asked to vote for Perni Krishnamurthy or Kittu, who is popular through his reels. The documents had pictures of YS Jagan, to make them look authentic.

The recipients were told that they could get loans and construct houses. However, when the recipients approached banks and MRO, they were told the papers had no value. They were also promised that houses would be built on the lands once YSRCP is voted back to power.

The dreams of many were shattered and there is talk that Perni Nani and Perni Kittu could be arrested in the fake pattas case.
