Former Macharla YCP MLA Pinnelli Ramakrishna Reddy, who caused chaos in the Palnadu region during elections, believing that no one could touch him as he was in power that his power, has nowfound himself in jail and is struggling to secure bail.
Pinnelli, who was arrested in the EVM smashing case, is currently in a deep desperation to get bail. He appealed to the court that he would abide by any condition and requested the magistrate to grant him bail. Pinnelli filed a bail petition in the High Court. It will be heard by the bench tomorrow.
Pinnelli was arrested for smashing EVM and VVPAT machines on the polling day at Palvaigate polling station. He later physically attacked TDP agent Namboori Seshadri who tried to stop him.
The next day, Pinnelli and his brother Venkatarami Reddy caused violence in Karampudi by attacking TDP workers as well as CI Narayana Swamy.
In both incidents, Karampudi police have filed an attempted murder case against Pinnelli and arrested him on June 26.
As the court ordered to put him under remand, he has been imprisoned at Nellore Central Jail. Until now, Pinnelli applied bail petition twice but was rejected both times.
Thus, in his latest bail petition, Pinnelli stated that he is willing to comply with any conditions the court imposes to grant him bail.
