Political experts laugh at Jagan’s inexperience!

The statement of Jagan – ‘When we reach 21 MLAs number, we will topple the government in one hour’ became sensation and as many believe that provoked Chandrababu Naidu to begin Operation Akarsha which resulted in YSR Congress losing 4 MLAs and One MLC. 21 TDP MLAs is very distant from truth but lets believe it will happen. Can Jagan topple the government then?

Political Experts say No. TDP has 102 MLAs and the support of 2 independents and 4 BJP MLAs which makes it count 108. On the other side, YSR Congress has 67 MLAs (Leaving aside defections). If Jagan manages to bring 21 MLAs out of TDP, then the count of TDP becomes 87 and YSR Congress’ number will become 88.

Government will not fall then, the Speaker will call for a Trust Vote. Speaker who is naturally a TDP man will take in to consideration of the disqualification petitions of 21 TDP MLAs and disqualify them. That will make sure YSR Congress numbers will not increase even though TDP numbers decrease. At most by-elections will happen in this 21 seats. The government will only fall when a major faction of the party comes out just as in the case of NTR’s time which is very unlikely. Political experts laugh at Jagan’s inexperience!
