Political tours: Good or bad for Thullur farmers?

Jagan recently made a visit to Andhra Pradesh capital region and promised farmers that he will become Chief minister in two years and return their lands. It didn’t take much time for political analysts to jab fun at him, how he will grab the power from Naidu and the logic less comments on returning land after the capital is constructed.

Today, Pawan went on a whirlwind trip to Thullur region and addressed the farmers he met. Now after these political tours many can’t understand the advantage of these as the 98% percent land pooling is already complete with very few protests. Why these two didn’t get time to visit capital region during the land pooling process if they are really concerned about farmers?

Are there any advantages of these political trips? Absolutely no as the land pooling is officially complete, it will only hurt the real estate market in the region. These ad hoc trips by politicians and their negative comments will further kill the real estate market in the region and the farmers will be the the ones who take this misfortune. It is known that in the capital region price per acre went up to 1.75Cr and now it is at below 1cr and prices will further fall down if these political tours continue worries farmers.
