Politics 2.0: Attacking Reliance Marts To Using Ambani For PR

Back in 2009, a news channel carried a story that some Russian blog with story that Ambanis are behind the then Chief Minister YS Rajasekhar Reddy’s chopper crash. We have seen Jagan supporters vandalize Reliance supermarkets across the state.

Back then, cases were slapped on several of Jagan’s supporters. Three News Channels including Jagan’s Sakshi was booked for spreading rumors and instigating violence and arson.

Jagan, his mother Vijayalakshmi, and sister Vijayamma made similar allegations of conspiracy on YSR’s death on many occasions.

But things changed after Jagan came to power. We have seen him nominate Reliance Industries Director of Corporate Affairs Parimal Nathwani to Rajya Sabha from AP.

Today Mukesh Ambani attended Global Investors Summit in Vishakapatnam. At the summit, the Chief Minister is seen talking and shaking hands with Ambani.

An extensive PR campaign has been unleashed saying that Mukesh Ambani never attended an investors Summit previously in South India.

Ambani is seated just beside Jagan at the Summit. The clips of Ambani’s speech are also being circulated by the YSR Congress social media teams.
