Posani Arrest, Vijayasai Reddy In Tension

Rajampet Police arrested Posani Krishna Murali on the complaint by a Janasena Leader.

After the Government changed, Posani announced quitting Politics hoping that it would lessen the anger on him. But then, nothing changed and he is now behind bars.

Another leader who followed the same strategy as Posani is Vijayasai Reddy.

Sai Reddy resigned from his Rajya Sabha seat and YSR Congress Primary Membership and announced he would concentrate on Farming for the remainder of his life.

It is an open secret that Sai Reddy fears the case of Kakinada Port and SEZ forcible shares transfer.

Like Posani, he hopes the Government will show mercy on him given that he is out of politics.

Unlike Posani, he also offered something to the Ruling Parties. His Rajya Sabha seat is up for grabs now. TDP can keep it for itself or give it to the BJP.

Since the alliance has an absolute majority in the Assembly, there is no way YSR Congress can get a single MLC (MLC Quota) or Rajya Sabha Seat in the next five years. So, it is like Sai Reddy offered the seat to the Ruling Parties.

So, he has a slight edge over Posani in that aspect.

But will that be enough?

We do not know if that is enough for the BJP but it should not be enough for the TDP.

Vijayasai Reddy is A2 in all Jagan’s CBI and ED cases. He has been the auditor of YSR’s family since the Raja Reddy days.

It is nothing like Sai Reddy can not come back to Politics.

We never know if he will return by the time of the 2029 elections.

Sai Reddy is a key back-office man of Jagan Mohan Reddy. He does the back-office deals in the party and also in Delhi. He was the one who engineered a very good relationship between Jagan and Modi. So, he should not be taken lightly.

So, TDP will look to tighten screws on him without a second thought.

If the Kakinada Port and SEZ case forced Sai Reddy to retire, it has the potential to push him into deep trouble. TDP will not waste the opportunity.

Another YSR Congress Rajya Sabha MP, YV Subba Reddy who happens to be Jagan’s maternal uncle can also be straightened by pursuing this case.

Subba Reddy’s son, Vikranth Reddy is also one of the accused in this case.
