Problems for Jagan’s Proposed Padayatra?

The other day, CBI court has warned YS Jagan Mohan Reddy for asking an exception to attend court in the name of political meetings. Jagan asked exception for attending YSR Congress Plenary starting today. The court clearly stated that it will give Warrant if such things happen in future.

On the other side, reports are emerging that Jagan Mohan Reddy is planning to undertake a Padayatra in the run up for 2019 elections. That will mean that Jagan will have to break his walkathon every Friday and rush to Hyderabad to attend the court proceedings.

Such Padayatra will those breaks will not prove to be effective. Just before 2014 elections, Jagan’s sister, Sharmila also undertook a Padayatra and broke the walkathon in the middle in the name of an injury. Subsequently, the heat generated by the walkathon subsided, YSR Congress also believes.

So, this will emerge as a big problem for Jagan’s Proposed Padayatra. On the other side, ED has served summons to the Opposition Leader to attend the court on August 4th. ED has filed the charge-sheet in India Cements Case and the court will be taking up the charge-sheet that day. Along with Jagan, Accused No.2 and Rajya Sabha MP, Vijaya Sai Reddy is also mandated to attend the court proceedings without fail.
