Pulivendula Not Jagan’s Adda, Alliance Bastion

Nandyal MP Byreddy Shabari has hit out strongly at YSRCP chief YS Jagan. She came to Pulivendula to campaign for Maareddy Lata Reddy who is the alliance candidate for ZPTC elections in Pulivendula.

Shabari proclaimed that Pulivendula was no longer Jagan’s adda. She said it will soon be alliance’s bastion. Already, Jagan’s stronghold seems to be slipping away as 11 candidates are contesting the polls. The number was never heard of in the past. In fact, for all these years, the YSR family won without opposition in Pulivendula.

But the scene reversed after Jagan lost power in 2024. And he lost with a dismal 11 seats. Then, there is the open washing of dirty linen in public by sister and AP PCC chief Sharmila. The two developments were enough to tarnish the image of Jagan and his party.

Further, drubbing him are Rayalaseema Reddy leaders who don’t shy away from saying that Jagan’s time is over. Byreddy Shabari defied one notion that only locals held sway in Pulivendula.

She said alliance would come to stand by their candidates from Aruku to Pulivendula. She in turn blamed YSRCP for bringing in non-local rowdies to create fear factor in voters.

Where is the Kadapa Steel Plant promised by Jagan? Union government allotted Rs 1500 crore for Koparthi. Where is the money? What did Jagan do for Pulivendula or Kadapa? There is no industry in Kadapa so far. I have been to Jagan colonies. The quality is real bad.

We will complain against YSRCP to the Election Commission. Alliance candidate Maareddy Lata Reddy will win the ZPTC polls, prophesied Shabari.
