Pulivendula ZPTC Elections are underway and the polling is going to happen on 12th.
In the last five ZPTC Elections in 1995, 2001, 2006, 2013, 2021, not even once Pulivendula went to polling.
Every time it is a unanimous election because people fear to file nominations from other parties.
For the first time since ZPTC elections started in AP, an election is happening for the Pulivendula ZPTC for the first time.
TDP In-Charge B Tech Ravi’s wife, Marreddy Latha Reddy, is the TDP candidate, while Tummala Hemanth Reddy is the YSR Congress Candidate.
TDP is giving it all to win that election.
B Tech Ravi, Adinarayana Reddy, and MLC Bhumireddy Ram Gopal Reddy were stationed in Pulivendula and are doing the electioneering.
Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu is personally supervising the campaign.
He is personally admitting the Village-level and Mandal-level leaders of YSRCP into the Telugu Desam Party.
This only outlines how prestigiously the Chief Minister has taken this election.
In the last two decades, Chandrababu did not take any Mandal-level election so seriously.
We also saw cadres of both the sides attacking each others and cases have been filed as well.
As of now, TDP is clearly ahead in the Campaign. YSR Congress’ campaign lacks lustre.
TDP will also have an upper hand because of the natural advantage which it will get for being in power.
YSR Congress cadres are still down from the 2024 defeat.
Also, MP Avinash Reddy‘s leadership is completely uninspiring.
There is always a complaint on Avinash that he is completely inaccessible to the party cadres. But Jagan entrusted the responsibility of Pulivendula to him even when in Power.
The cadres are not excited to work with him after he ignored them for so long.
YS Sunitha also entered the fray and whenever she comes before the media, the spirits of Avinash Reddy and YSR Congress naturally come down.
