Raajadhani Files: HC Shocks YCP Government

The other day, Andhra Pradesh government used police force to stop the screenings of Raajadhani Files film in theaters across the state. This was after the court issued a stay on the film’s screening.

But while the YCP government thought the stay would continue on the film, it didn’t happen as the AP high court cleared the stay and green signalled the screenings.

Now that the stay has been cleared, the screenings are to resume from today. So the government and the police force would have no legal authority to stop the screenings.

The other day itself, the screenings of Raajadhani Files created a discussion on social media after certain “Bathroom Goddali” and “Gudivada casino” scenes leaked on social media. There are said to be a handful of such politically relevant scenes in the film that would irk the YCP government.

Usually, YCP will have the last laugh by releasing RHV’s propaganda films ahead of the election. But this time around, a film in the form of Raajadhani Files is aiming the barrel at YCP with relevant political satires.
