The Minister later clarified that it was not a Pre-Meditated statement and implies only that Rajinikanth need not be against the AIADMK Government since he has been hailing various decisions of the government.

This statement, however, left the fans confused because Rajinikanth has only announced his political entry but is yet to unveil his party name. Fans would expect him not to sail with AIADMK as it is seen as a sinking ship post the demise of Jayalalithaa.
