T-govt stunned with High court's strange verdict!

Hyderabad High Court the other day had imposed one month jail and 2000 fine to Rangareddy district collector Raghunandhan Rao on contempt of court. In a case related to 1991 regarding the house allocations in Sooraram housing colony.

The collector did not take any steps to solve the issue despite the court giving orders. Telangana government is totally upset and they are questioning the rationale behind punishing current collector for an issue of 1991.

Also the government is finding fault with the court for not serving a notice to Telangana government and deciding on the verdict. Telangana government is exploring all legal options to go for an appeal against this case.
