Media Baron Ramoji Rao is no more. After suffering from health-related issues for the last few days, Ramoji Rao breathed his last in the early hours of this morning.
Ramoji became a household name in the Telugu states with his Eenadu Daily Newspaper and ETV Broadcasting Network.
Apart from owning these media houses, Rao also ran many other businesses in his illustrious career. He was the flagbearer of Telugu media on the national front.
Even though he was a media tycoon, Ramoji Rao always preferred to stay away from cameras. As he didn’t make many public appearances, people didn’t get to see him often in the media.
At least, he was seen every now and then over the last few years. But during the 70s and 80s, Ramoji Rao was rarely seen in the mainstream media.
Now, a couple of his old and rare pictures have surfaced on social media. In one photo, Rao was seen sporting a thick mustache and in the other one, he was posing with his wife Rama Devi. These adorable pictures are now trending on the internet.
The entire nation is mourning the death of this legend. We hear that his final rites will be held at Ramoji Film City tomorrow.
